1. About This Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how the LUV Music Intelligence Platform (“LUV”, “we”, “us” or “our”) collects, uses, stores and protects information when you access or use the LUV Music Intelligence Platform. LUV Music Intelligence Platform is an independently operated music discovery and analytics platform based in the United Kingdom. The Platform was developed to support music discovery and the identification of emerging artists and tracks. It uses publicly available information, including information obtained through YouTube API Services, to provide music discovery, performance analysis and related intelligence.

2. Information We Collect
Depending on how you use LUV, we may process the following categories of information.
Account Information Where you create an account, we may process information such as:● your email address;

YouTube API Data
LUV uses YouTube API Services.

● publicly available view statistics;
● publicly available subscriber statistics where available;
● publicly available engagement statistics where applicable;
● video publication information;

● other public metadata returned by the YouTube Data API.
LUV does not use the YouTube API to obtain users’ YouTube login credentials. YouTube API Data may be temporarily stored, refreshed, processed or deleted in accordance with applicable YouTube API Services policies and any additional permissions granted to LUV by YouTube. LUV may use permitted YouTube API Data as an input into music discovery, comparative analysis and other analytical features. Any metric, classification, ranking or analytical indicator identified as a “LUV” metric is independently produced by LUV and should not be understood as an official YouTube or Google metric. Use of YouTube content and services through LUV is also subject to the YouTube Terms of Service.3. How We Use Information
We may process information to:
● provide and operate the LUV Music Intelligence Platform;
● authenticate users and maintain accounts;
● provide music discovery features;
● identify and display relevant artists and tracks;
● provide permitted analytics and reporting features;
● allow users to track or follow artists where that functionality is available;
● maintain data quality;
● operate and improve our technology;
● diagnose errors and technical problems;
● prevent fraud, abuse and unauthorised access;
● comply with legal, regulatory and contractual obligations; and
● communicate with users regarding the Platform.
Where LUV provides analytical outputs, these may include independent LUV analysis based on information lawfully and contractually available to the Platform.4. Our Lawful Bases
Where UK data-protection law applies, we process personal data only where we have an appropriate lawful basis. Depending on the processing activity, this may include: Contract: where processing is necessary to provide an account or service that you have requested. 5. YouTube and Google
LUV uses YouTube API Services. By accessing functionality incorporating YouTube API Services, you acknowledge that use of YouTube services and content is subject to the YouTube Terms of Service. LUV is independently operated and is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by YouTube or Google. LUV does not control YouTube or Google’s independent processing of information.

We use third-party technology providers to operate the Platform. These may include providers of:

● authentication services;
● security and monitoring services;
● YouTube API Services; and
● other technical infrastructure necessary to operate LUV.

Where applicable, non-authorised YouTube API Data is refreshed or deleted within the periods required by YouTube. LUV may retain statistical or derived information for longer periods only where permitted under applicable YouTube API Services terms, policies and permissions.

We use reasonable administrative, organisational and technical measures designed to protect information against unauthorised access, disclosure, alteration, loss or misuse. No online system can guarantee absolute security, but we take reasonable steps appropriate to the nature of the information processed and the services we provide.
